Organization

If you’re like a lot of bibliophiles, you love your books but are frustrated by the difficulty of keeping your huge collection organized. Maybe organizing books doesn’t appeal to you. Maybe it does, but you’re too busy to handle it. Whatever the reason, if you’re looking for help with organizing your collection, I’m the one to call!

What I Can Do For You

  • Assess your current situation and propose a system for organizing your books.
  • Work with you to fine-tune that system to suit your particular needs.
  • Implement that system for you — physically move the books to their new location in the system, gently and carefully; create dividers and labels for sections; and whatever else needs to be done to make the system work.

Why Organize Your Books?

Once you get past a shelf or two of books, it starts to get harder to remember where everything is. Creating a system that works with your own internal method of remembering books is the solution. Do you remember books by their contents, cover, the time you bought them, or something else? Ultimately, if your books are organized in a way that makes sense to you, you’ll be able to put your hands on a particular book in moments instead of scanning multiple bookcases for it. I can help you get there.
